“Our partnership with Microsoft will make it easier than ever to collaborate seamlessly across these platforms, giving people the freedom to get more done.”

The integration will be part of the updates to the Office apps for IOS and Android coming in the forthcoming weeks. In the coming months, Dropbox will also make its app available to Windows Phone and Windows tablet platforms.

In the first half of 2015 the internet integrations between Office Online and the Dropbox website will take place.

As Microsoft and Dropbox, former competitors in the enterprise file sharing and synchronisation business join forces, organisations around the world will be able to enjoy more seamless office product implementation. A feat that has got to be good for business.
